Job Description
Do you want to lead a new organization and contribute to the development of elderly care in a growing metropolitan municipality? We are now looking for an interim elderly director for a newly established elderly administration in a municipality.
Scope of the assignment
- Start date: May 1, 2025
- End date: October 31, 2025
- Scope: Approximately 20 hours per week
- Possibility of extension: Two months (max 50% of the original estimated time)

Responsibilities
On May 1, 2025, the municipality's new elderly administration will be established through a division of the current social and elderly administration. As the interim elderly director, you will be ultimately responsible for leading and shaping the new administration, which includes approximately 660 employees. You will assist the political leadership in the governance and management of the administration and ensure a qualitative and efficient operation.
Qualifications
Required competencies:
· academic education in a relevant field for the assignment.
· several years of experience in qualified management work in a growing metropolitan municipality in the Stockholm region as a director/manager.
· several years of experience in change management within elderly care.
· several years of experience working with issues of governance, management, quality development, and efficiency within elderly care.
· good ability to collaborate with the client.
